Use task fields consistently so dashboards, task lists, and workflow status panels remain useful.
Use Open for a task that has not started or is waiting to be worked.
Use In Progress when someone has started the task but it is not complete.
Use Blocked when the task cannot move forward because something else is missing.
Examples: waiting for client documents, contractor response, inspection result, or finance review.
Use Completed when the action is finished.
Use Cancelled when the task no longer applies.
Use Low for non-urgent follow-up.
Use Normal for routine operational work.
Use High for work that affects deadlines, client service, compliance, payments, or construction progress.
