Good tasks make CDM easier to operate. Poor tasks create noise and make workflow progress harder to trust.
A good task title starts with the action.
Examples:
The description should give the assignee enough information to complete the work.
Include names, documents, dates, decision context, or blockers when useful.
Use the most specific record that fits the action.
Client for case-level work.
Loan for loan and servicing work.
Work Plan for scope, bid, inspection, construction, payment, and closeout work.
If one person owns the next step, assign the task.
If ownership is unclear, leave it unassigned temporarily and review unassigned tasks regularly.
