How Variants Work

When a report has variants, the report drawer shows a Variant section.

Choose the variant that matches the desired output, grouping, or legacy report ID.

• Required parameters
• Output labels
• Report titles
• Business rules

Examples

Billing Statements includes variants for all billing statements, delinquent billing statements, and single billing statement output.

Payments Due includes variants for standard payments due, by-program, and by-program-group views.

Client Demographics includes client, loan, project, and income/location variants.

Work Plan, Funding Source, Payment, Loan, Property, and Disbursement reports may also expose related legacy reports as variants.
