Program Ledger and Program Utilization help staff review funding activity after Programs and Projects have been set up.
Program Utilization
The Program Utilization dashboard shows how much of a Program has been assigned to Projects and whether the Program needs review.
Key measures include:
- Program Funds: award plus leveraged funds.
- Project Budgets: project budgets attached to the program.
- Unassigned Funds: program funds minus project budgets.
- Net Available: program funds plus income/expenditure activity.
- Income / Expenditures: ledger-linked activity for the program.
- Active Projects: active project count.
Status Labels
Program Utilization shows a status based on funding pressure:
- Healthy: no current utilization warning.
- Nearly Assigned: most program funds have been assigned.
- Review: program or project activity indicates over-assignment or negative availability.
