Loans in CDM connect client and property records to funding, servicing, payments, escrow, work plans, documents, and reporting.
A loan belongs to a property, and the property belongs to a client. This relationship keeps financial activity connected to the correct household and address.
What the Loans Module Is Used For
Use the Loans module to:
- Find and open loans
- Create new loans for client properties
- Track loan status and terms
- Review balances, payment due dates, and past due amounts
- Manage loan funding allocations
- Record payments and adjustments
- Review escrow information when enabled
- Connect work plans to loan-funded rehabilitation work
- Generate loan reports and letters
- Track loan tasks, documents, and refinance history

Loans can be opened from:
- Modules -> Loans
- A client record's Loans tab
- A property record's Loans tab
- Escrow views when a loan has escrow activity
