What Bids Support

Bids help Rehab Specialists compare contractor pricing for a Work Plan, record sent and received dates, and award specific work items to the contractor selected for the job.

Use Bids after the Work Plan scope has enough work items for contractor pricing. Bid records are tied to the Work Plan and inherit the client, property, loan, and work plan context from that workspace.

When to Use Bids

Use Bids when you need to:

• Track which contractors were asked to bid.
• Enter bid amounts by work item.
• Compare total contractor bids.
• Identify the low bid.
• Award individual work items to a contractor.
• Produce bid-related reports such as the Statement of Contractor Selection or Detail Bid Analysis.

What a Bid Contains

Each bid includes:

• Contractor.
• Date sent.
• Date received.
• Work item bid amounts.
• Total bid amount.
