Purpose

Accepting or selecting the winning bid is called awarding the bid in CDM. On the Bid dashboard, choose Award Bid for the winning contractor, review the eligible Work Items, and choose Award Selected. An eligible Work Item has a bid amount greater than zero and is unawarded, or is already assigned to that same contractor without an awarded amount. Awarding assigns the selected lines to the winning contractor and drives downstream contractor payment workflows.

Accept Or Award The Winning Bid

In CDM, accepting or selecting a winning bid means awarding it:

  1. From the Bid dashboard, choose Award Bid for the winning contractor.
  2. In the Award Bid modal, review the eligible Work Items and select the lines to award.
  3. Choose Award Selected.

An eligible Work Item has a bid amount greater than zero and is unawarded, or is already assigned to that same contractor without an awarded amount. Only the selected eligible lines are changed.

Eligible Work Items

A Work Item can be selected for award when:

Work Items awarded to another contractor, already awarded with an amount, instructional, or without a positive bid for the selected contractor are locked and remain unchanged.

Awarding Selected Items

  1. Review the selected contractor name.
  2. Select the work items to award.
  3. Use Check All only when all eligible lines should go to this contractor.
  4. Use Uncheck All to clear the selection.
